Elizabeth Harrison was a leader in the Kindergarten movement in
this country in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.   Some of
her achievements are listed in this

Introduction to National-Louis University</A>, that evolved
from Miss Harrison's Training School that she founded in 1886.
