The Crow and the Pitcher

A CROW that was dying of thirst found a Pitcher with some water in it, but it was so low he could not reach it with his bill, although he stood on the very tips of his toes.

He tried to break the Pitcher, but it was too strong.

He tried to push it over, but it was too heavy.

At last he thought of a way; so he took a pebble and dropped it into the Pitcher, then another, and another, and, by and by, he had raised the water in the Pitcher and was able to quench his thirst.

Where there's a will there's a way.
